CIMS (Centre for Intelligent Monitoring Systems) is part of the University of Liverpool and has a world wide reputation in sensing and monitoring systems.
CIMS' mission is to become a centre of excellence in intelligent sensing and monitoring systems that concentrates not just on new technology, but how it can be applied in innovative ways that benefit industry, the community and the environment.
The centre is partly funded by The European Regional Development Fund.
